The New England Patriots are preparing for the upcoming season. They have a bunch of players that are going to make their debut in the league this season, so they are very excited to have them show off their potential.
Wide receiver N’Keal Harry was noticeably absent from practice earlier this week. To add to that, offensive tackle Yondy Cajuste was also absent as well as cornerbacks Stephon Gilmore and Michael Jackson; running backs James White, Sony Michel, Lamar Miller and J.J. Taylor; wide receiver Jeff Thomas; safety Adrian Phillips; tight end Jake Burt; defensive tackle Beau Allen and defensive end Tashawn Bower.
N’Keal Harry didn’t see much action last year during his first season with the team. This season, he is expected to be better due to the fact he has been working hard this whole summer to improve his performance. Edelman recently opened up about how hard it can be for players to adjust to the team’s dynamic. He explained:
“I like to be known as a teammate that would help you, I like to give little pointers here and there because the better we all are, the better we are as a team. I like going out and trying to give information if they want information and go form there. Part of the job, I guess.”
He also said that Harry is going to be very helpful to the team this season:
“He’s a big kid and he works hard. We’re gonna need him to play well. We’re gonna need everyone to play well. It’s tough to play receiver here, but he doing a good job at that by not making the same mistakes. I’m not a coach, but I like his attitude. I like his body. He’s got a big body… got some nice abs too… hopefully, he comes in and can help right away.”
We can’t wait to see Harry out on the field with the Patriots.
