Tom Brady Is Launching ‘199 Productions’, A Global Multiplatform Content Company

Tom Brady is set to make a really big decision this offseason – for the first time ever, he is going to be a free agent and all eyes are on him as people are waiting for him to decide where he will play next. Even though free agency is right around the corner, Brady seems more interesting in something that’s unrelated to football.

Recent reports shared that Brady is launching 199 Productions, which is described as “a global multiplatform content company to develop original premium content including documentaries, feature films, and television shows.” Brady took it to social media to confirm the launch, as he wrote:

“I’m excited to announce to the world the official launch of 199 Productions.

“When I was the 199th draft pick in 2000, I knew I needed to work hard every day to prove myself. Launching a production company is no different and I’m humbled to have the opportunity to partner with @therussobrothers, @agbofilms and @gchopra on our first project ‘Unseen Football.’ I believe in the essence of teamwork, and I have no doubt, our 199 Productions team and partners will create inspiring content to share with the world.

“Stay tuned.. exciting times are ahead, both on and off the field.”

During an earlier interview, Brady explained that being a late-round pick actually helped him evolve as a player:

“We have had a lot of undrafted players, late round picks. And I think what they can’t evaluate at the combine are probably things that can help you prolong your career. You learn different skill sets when you are not the top pick so, if you can stick with it and you can find ways that make you successful as a player.

“To me, these are: continuing to evolve your game, continuing to work at your skills, continuous improvement, discipline, and hard work.”

That’s some real talk right there!
