New England Patriots Receiver Julian Edelman Isn’t Slowing Down, Motivated As Ever Offers Simple Message To His Fans

Julian Edelman doesn’t plan to stop or even slow down any time soon. As a threat to the rivals, he shared a social media post revealing that he is back to work and will return for the next season stronger than ever.

The 2019 season was not the best for Edelman when we talk about it injury-wise. Early in the season, he started getting injured and throughout the season his name appeared on the injury list. He suffered injuries to his ribs, shoulder, and knee, among other things. Still, he managed to stay on the field for the entire season and the lone postseason game his team played.

Recently, it was reported that Edelman underwent surgery for his shoulder injury. Even though this is a serious surgery and it might take time for Edelman to be back to working out, he is adamant about doing everything he can to stay in shape. He even posted this:

Edelman plans to play in 2020, as he is under contract with the Patriots until 2021. However, the team could be losing some of the core players responsible for their most recent Super Bowl triumphs. One of them is quarterback Tom Brady. When talking about free agency and possibly leaving the Patriots, Brady said:

“I am open-minded about the process and at the same time I love playing football and want to continue to play and do a great job. I am looking to what is ahead. Whatever the future may bring, I will embrace it with open arms.”

There’s no telling if Edelman will want to play in a Brady-less team. He and the quarterback are very close friends and have played together for Edelman’s entire NFL run. Edelman has been Brady’s best weapon on the field for several seasons now. We hope to see them back on the field together for the 2020 season!
