Lakers’ Kyle Kuzma Quoted a Line From The Movie ‘Friday’ to The News That Antonio Brown Got Fired

Headlines are filled with reports about Antonio Brown being released by the New England Patriots. Everyone and anyone knows what’s going on with the famous wide receiver right now. Many have come forward to comment on the release, including Los Angeles Lakers small forward Kyle Kuzma.

After news about the released broke out, Brown tweeted about getting fired on a Friday. Kuzma saw this as an opportunity to use one of the best lines from the movie “Friday.” Take a look:

At this point, no one knows what will happen with Brown. He might have played his last down in the NFL with the Patriots, knowing that not a lot of teams would be willing to sign him amid all this drama. However, there is the possibility that he’ll play again in the 2020-21 season after his off the field issues are taken care of.

A couple of days back, the NFL shared this statement about the Pro-Bowl wide receiver:

“Antonio Brown was released today by the New England Patriots and is currently an unrestricted free agent. Our office is presently investigating multiple allegations, some of which are the subject of pending litigation. We have as yet made no findings regarding these issues. The investigation is ongoing and will be pursued vigorously and expeditiously.

“As long as Mr. Brown is a free agent, placement on the Commissioner’s exempt list is not appropriate. If he is signed by a club, such placement may become appropriate at any time depending on the status of the investigation. Upon the conclusion of the investigation, he may also be subject to discipline if the investigation finds that he has violated the law or league policies.”

On the other hand, the Patriots shared:

“The New England Patriots are releasing Antonio Brown. We appreciate the hard work of many people over the past 11 days, but we feel that it is best to move in a different direction at this time.”
