NFL Insider Believes That Gronk Will Unretire Next Season

Former New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski announced his retirement shortly after Super Bowl LIII. Being worn out from his many injuries, he decided to pull the plug on his football career. Even though it’s been a few months since the announcement was made, fans are still not convinced that Gronk is retired forever.

There have been many rumors about Gronk returning to the NFL during the upcoming season. Jay Glazer is one of the greatest NFL insiders, and he believes that Gronk is going to come back to the Patriots at any point in the future. He recently said:

“Gronk could retire for 10 years and come back and still dominate. He is ridiculous.”

Even though having him back with the Patriots would be the most amazing thing ever, Gronkowski has been adamant about staying retired. He made that clear once again during his interview with ich Eisen recently:

“There’s definitely going to be times when you miss it and everything. I would always say that it’s still the offseason right now. I mean I can’t really say how I’m going to feel about it when the games start rolling around and everything. You know, I just felt like it was time. I feel really good right now and it was just definitely something I thought it was the right time and the right thing to do.”

He went on to say:

“You want to know something? I never had an August off in my life. So, it’s gonna be a little different. That’s when it’s gonna start really seeing the change is when that comes around in August when I’m not in training camp; I might not know what to do with myself. To have that load off your back, I mean I’ve been playing football for 15 years straight in a row of that grind. Just relaxing right now feels good.”

We really hope Gronk decided to come back to the league at least for one more season.
