Tom Brady Discusses How Football Connects Him And His Three Kids

Tom Brady is probably the biggest name in the NFL today. Drafted back in 2000, he has spent the last nineteen years playing as the quarterback for the New England Patriots. Even though football takes up a lot of his time, he still spends a lot of time with his family.

Brady met supermodel Gisele Bundchen on a blind date in 2006. In 2009, the couple got married. They soon welcomed son Benjamin Rein and a couple of years later, they welcomed daughter Vivian Lake. Brady also has a son named John from a previous relationship.

During an interview he did a few months back, Brady talked about one element that has been evolving over the last decade. That is the way his kids have changed the game day experience for him. He told reporters:

“Different than when I was young and had little responsibility. It’s a lot of fun. It’s great for me. My daughter is 6. She’s a great cheerleader for us. My oldest son is into every play. My middle son is not into any play. It’s perfect. We get to talk about it on the way home. They’re understanding more and more. They’re still my kids and they just care that much about that — they want to hang with Gronk and Jules and all those other guys.”

He also talked about whether his kids give him tips on how to improve his gameplay. Brady said:

“My oldest son Jack does a little bit. He can analyze it pretty good.”

Last offseason, we saw a lot of Jack on his father’s Instagram. He helped Brady while he was training for the upcoming season. In the meantime, he also showed off his budding arm during a dodgeball-type workout for Brady, who was evidently working on his mobility.

We can’t wait to see the Brady kids in the audience cheering for their father when the new season starts!
