Tom Brady And Julian Edelman Exchange Heartwarming Messages On Instagram

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and wide receiver Julian Edelman have both started preparing for the upcoming NFL season. Over the past few weeks, we have seen some pictures of the two having private workout sessions with rookie wide receiver N’Keal Harry. But it looks like Edelman has decided to spend some time with his newest workout buddy.

The Super Bowl MVP went on social media to share pictures of himself and his daughter, Lily Rose, playing around on a field. In the caption, he wrote: “My favorite training partner … sorry (Tom Brady).”

As soon as the picture went up, Brady left the cutest comment under the pictures:

All Patriots teammates and fans know that Brady and Edelman have a real bromance going on. Earlier this year, Brady talked to reporters about Edelman and said:

“We have a great relationship, Jules and I, and I trust him so much. He’s always been kind of like my little brother, in a good way. I don’t have a little brother, but he’s kind of like a little brother and he knows how much I love him.”

When it comes to Edelman, he also had nothing but good words to say about Brady:

“He’s a really good football player, the best. He goes out and he consistently proves it. He’s one of our leaders and he’s a leader for a reason.”

Brady and Edelman first met when Edelman joined the Patriots about a decade ago. These two players have similar backgrounds, both being California natives and growing up idolizing the San Francisco 49ers’ dynasty led by Joe Montana and Rice.

Brady joined the league in 2000, as a sixth-round pick for the Patriots. On the other hand, Edelman was drafted in the seventh round of the 2009 Draft. Coming to the Patriots was a huge thing for Edelman who was already a big fan of Brady. As years passed, they say they developed their own sort of silent language on the field, and have unique ways to hype up each other. Today, they have a great connection on the field and a great friendship off of it.
