Dwyane Wade Is Going To Ask LeBron James To Autograph This Legendary Photo For Him

The 2003 NBA Draft welcomed a lot of players in the league, but the ones who would go on to have the best careers are LeBron James and Dwyane Wade. At first, they were selected by different teams. They later ended up playing together, providing us with a lifetime of memories.

After a sixteen-season career, Dwyane Wade retired just after his team finished their 2018 season. He did an interview with House of Highlights founder Omar Raja recently and talked about his friendship with James. He explained that he wants James to sing one piece of memorabilia for him:

“The photographer that got this photo was like, ‘He got it at the perfect time.’ No I don’t yet, but so this is the one that I told ‘Bron, ‘When I retire this is the only thing I want him to sign for me.’ I’m gonna pull up on his house in L.A. and I’m going to pull it out the car and say, ‘Sign this, bro.’”

During another interview he did recently, Wade talked about the reasons he had to join the Heat alongside LeBron. He explained:

“I sit here with you guys and I promise, I never thought me and LeBron would play together, I remember going to my agent’s office and he was like, ‘Yo, LeBron and Leon–at the time that was his agent–they want to get on a call with us.’ I’m like, ‘Okay.’ I remember talking to Bron he was like, ‘Where your head at?’ I said, ‘My head is in winning, where your head at?’ He was like, ‘Same thing, let’s rock together.’ I’m like, ‘Cool! Let’s do it.’

When we was trying to make a decision of what city we wanted to play in or what we wanted to be, we had to keep our options open. Chicago was on the top of both of our lists. They had two max contracts and they had a young D-Rose. They had a Luol Deng, they had Noah, they had all these pieces. So I’m like, ‘In Chicago, in one of the biggest markets?’ But listen, we thought about it. Then we looked at New York. And when it came down to it, Miami was the only team with enough money to get all three of us. Every other team only had two max contracts. When it came down to it, we thought CB was the perfect match. And ultimately bro, I just wanted to win.”

This is the kind of friendships we live for!
