Tom Brady has been playing in the NFL since 2000. He just finished his 19th season in the league. At the age of 41, Brady is no where near ready to retire. He came forward to say that he hopes to play until his mid 40s and we have no doubt that he will be able to do that.
This year, Brady and the Patriots won Super Bowl LIII and with that, won another Super Bowl ring. This is ring no.6 for Brady. A week after the big game, Brady decided to head to the Gillette World Headquarters in Boston to get his playoff beard shaved off for charity. For the event, Gillette donated $35,000 each to The Boys and Girls Club of South Boston, Best Buddies, and The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
During his appearance at the Gillette headquarters, Brady talked about how wife Gisele Bundchen has used some unconventional methods to help him stay so successful. He explained:
“You know I’ve learned a lot from my wife over the years. She’s so about the power of intention and believing things that are really going to happen.”
Brady revealed that Bundchen “always makes a little altar for me at the game because she just wills it so much,” complete with pictures of his children:
“And I have these little special stones and healing stones and protection stones and she has me wear a necklace and take these drops she makes, I say all these mantras. And I stopped questioning her a long time ago. I just shut up and listen.”
Even though he thought it was a bit crazy at first, he admitted that it worked:
“About four years ago we were playing the Seahawks and she said ‘you better listen to me, this is your year, but this is all the things you’re going to have to do to win,’ and I did all those things and by God, you know, it worked.”
Leave it up to Gisele to make sure she helps her man get his win!
