New England Patriots running back Jeremy Hill took it to Twitter to share his disapproval for all Tom Brady haters. Before his team’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers, some pundits said that the quarterback has fallen off a cliff or is about to do so. However, Brady proved them all wrong and took his team to yet another victory.
On Sunday, Brady was able to complete 34 of his 44 passes on for 343 yards and a touchdown. He was also amazing at getting the ball out quickly to negate Los Angeles’ pass rush, which was one of the underrated aspects of his strong day. After the game, Hill tweeted:
Brady also opened up about those who have doubts about him and his team. During his interview on WEEI’s Mut and Callahan on Monday, he said:
“I just think it is just a general — what is generally said about our team. It is just a question you get asked. I mean, we have TVs on from time to time. I don’t think you are completely into anything, I just know a lot of people didn’t think we could win yesterday and I’m sure a lot of people don’t think we can win in Kansas City.”
On the other hand, safety Devin McCourty came forward to say:
“I think for us, we were going to prepare and be ready to go, whether you pick us or you don’t pick us. But, we see it. We see our quarterback’s too old, we’re not good enough on defense, the skill players aren’t good. We see it, but it doesn’t affect how we prepare, we love practicing and we love playing with each other, preparing. We’re going to take advantage of that and come out ready to go no matter what. So, like I said earlier, we have a team of great character, a lot of guys in there with really good character that are going to keep fighting and have already been counted out multiple times, so that never affects us.”
We can’t wait to see the Patriots this week when they take on the Kansas City Chiefs!
