Luke Walton Hailed a Rookie After Suns Win ‘He sets good screens, he can pass, he can shoot’

Last night, the Los Angeles Lakers played against the Phoenix Suns. They managed to beat them and added their fourteenth win to the books.

At the beginning of the game, the Suns had a lead of as many as 17 points. However, in an interesting turn of events, the Lakers caught up to them and ended up claiming a 120-96 victory.

For the first time since the beginning of the season, rookie star Moritz Wagner scored a point. At the same time, LeBron James and Kyle Kozma scored 45 points between them. Head coach Luke Walton was satisfied with his team’s performance and after the game shared:

“He talks a lot. He plays hard and talks a lot. He’s very competitive which we love. He sets good screens, he can pass, he can shoot. He likes to talk trash, so it’s a good combination for what we encourage around our practice facility.”

On the other hand, Lakers star LeBron James had some praises to share about his teammate Kyle Kuzma. He said:

“I think he [Kuzma] is not allowing anybody just to put a cap on him just saying that he needs to score. He wants to be more than that! He’s been continually getting better and better. Not just offensively but defensively too. He’s just playing all around solid basketball. He has the ability to make plays.”

Last night’s game proved once again that the Lakers are turning into a serious competition. Before James joined the team, they were struggling and that’s a fact. But now, there’s nothing that can stop the King.

The Lakers haven’t played at the playoffs since 2013. This year, for the first time in years, they have a decent chance of qualifying for the playoffs. We can’t wait to see if their goal turns into reality. Stay tuned, we will keep you updated on all future news about the Lakers.
