The Cleveland Browns didn’t believe that Josh Gordon could be beneficial for their team. They decided to trade him earlier this year. The New England Patriots were probably the only team that was interested in him. They were ready to give him the benefit of the doubt. This decision turned out to be one of their best this season, as Gordon has helped them score a lot of points so far.
Last night was an amazing night for Gordon. As his team took on the Minnesota Viking, he proved that he is a great player. He had just three catches for 58 yards and a touchdown. However, it was the timing of his production that really showed his greatness. After the game, he shared:
“It felt like home a long time ago. The atmosphere is very welcoming. It took me a little bit to get acclimated to the area. Other than that, it’s been pretty smooth so far, and that’s due in part to the facility, the organization, just everybody helping me along the way.”
He said that he’s humbled to have the opportunity to play with such an amazing team and with the legend himself – Tom Brady:
“…it must be fate, I guess – I won’t say coincidence – but it’ great to be on the receiving end of it. [I am] extremely humbled to come out here every Sunday and get a chance to play, let alone with Tom Brady, the greatest to ever do it. So, to be part of history with him? I can’t really even put the words to describe what that means to me. But, it’s just great to have the opportunity.”
If he continues to play like this, he is going to get his NFL career back on track in no time. He has been amazing so far and we can’t wait to see what will turn of him in the future.
